Supporting Young Minds
Choosing mindthegap means choosing a service that truly understands the unique challenges faced by children and young people with mental health and special educational needs. We focus on bridging the gaps that so many families and schools encounter when trying to access timely, joined-up support.
Our Approach
At mindthegap, our approach begins with listening. Every child and young person has a story, and we believe effective support for mental health and special educational needs. We take a trauma informed approach in taking the time to build trusting relationship to hear from children, their families and the professionals around them, so that we see not just the challenges, but the strengths, interests and aspirations that make each child unique.
